Brent is an accomplished executive with a robust background in commercial and corporate law, intellectual property, and media law, cultivated over a career spanning two decades in New Zealand and the UK.
Before assuming his current position as Chief Operating Officer of TVNZ, Brent served as Interim CEO for six months, being at the forefront of its transformation in the coming years. Prior to this, he held the role of General Counsel & Corporate Affairs Director at TVNZ for ten years, where he played a central role in shaping the company's legal strategy and fostering positive stakeholder relationships. He has also held directorial roles at Igloo Limited and Freeview NZ.
Brent was appointed as a Trustee Council Member of the New Zealand Business & Parliament Trust in 2023.
