Nirupa is a dynamic leader with a background spanning law, politics, and human rights advocacy. Currently serving as the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at SkyCity Entertainment Group, she previously held key roles as a political and media advisor in Parliament, Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Auckland, and a refugee lawyer.
Outside of her professional endeavours, Nirupa has been actively involved in human rights NGOs for over a decade, including serving as a board member of the Red Cross Refugee Advisory Board and as Deputy Chair and board member of Amnesty International Aotearoa New Zealand.
Nirupa was appointed as a Trustee Council Member of the New Zealand Business & Parliament Trust in 2023 and is a Board Member of the Trust.
